16. February 2022With reference to our current science-fantasy role-playing game ELEX II (release date for PC and consoles on March 1, 2022), this presentation uses images and examples to illustrate how science fiction works in computer games. Afterwards, we are happy to offer a question-and-answer session.

Why is that? What thoughts do we computer game developers have when we decide on a setting for our games?
Here’s an essay on how we developers think about it and what the advantages seem to be with a futuristic setting compared to its peers.
And why did we Piranhas choose a hybrid setting, especially for the games ELEX and ELEX II, which combines several different eras?
