For 20 years now Robert Vogel has been haunting the European Space Agency and sowing the “SciFi virus” to the best of his ability. A lot has happened in this respect again last year. Robert reports, among other things, about how the HESSENSCHAU was at his home, he was asked where he keeps his moon rock and how he was invited to be a “guest nerd” in an ESA music video.

Since the mid 70s he is active in the fandom, writes as a freelance journalist for various fantastic magazines and gives lectures at about 20 conventions a year. He is just as much at home shooting fantastic films and series as he is at events of the European Space Agency, where he enjoys spreading the "SciFi virus".
