The “Frenzied Space Reporter” Robert Vogel has been tirelessly infecting the European Space Agency ESA with the “SciFi virus” for about 15 years now … and slowly the success shows up: at the Halloween photo shoot 2018 “Astro-Alex” Gerst was seen in a Darth Vader outfit (which he got from Robert as a present), and also his colleague Thomas Reiter was supplied by him (of course with expert instruction of two Jedi masters) with a fightable lightsaber. In his topical lecture Darth Vader on the ISS Robert Vogel reports on FedCon about further “nerd actions” he has carried out with and at ESA lately.
Lecturer: Robert Vogel
Duration: 55 min - The Lecture will be held in: germanRobert Vogel is a long-time fantasy and space travel expert and writes as a freelance journalist for several genre magazines. As a "Frenzied Space Reporter" he also visits the shooting of fantastic films and series and writes "On-the-Set-Reports" and interviews cast and crew.
Also in front of the camera he can be seen as an extra in some productions. Robert has been active in the fantasy scene since 1973 and has long since lost track of how many conventions he attended. Since the beginning of the new millennium he infiltrates the European Space Agency ESA and spreads the "SciFi virus". Thus the Darth Vader costume that Alexander Gerst wore at the Halloween photo shoot 2018 on the ISS came from him.
