The space station Deep Space Nine is located in the orbit of Bajor at the very edge of the Federation’s catchment area. Benjamin Sisko and his crew are assigned to DS9 to protect Bajor. The space station is an important trade and transit hub. On the other side of the hole lies the Gamma Quadrant, where the changelings live. Again and again there are conflicts between Bajorans, Klingons, Cardassians and other races in the vicinity of DS9. – The 176-part U.S. science fiction series by Rick Berman and Michael Piller is the third series set in the Star Trek universe, after Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Together with the hostile Maquis, the crew of Voyager has been hurled by an alien being 70,000 light years away from Earth into an unknown Milky Way of the Delta Quadrant. A calculation shows that it will take them 70 years to ever get back to their homeland. For this, they have to cross unknown universes over long distances, face heavy battles, hardships and various adventures. The contracting camps decide to band together under the leadership of Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) for the long journey home. Star Trek: Voyager is the fourth television series set in the Star Trek universe.
100 years after Captain Kirk. A new generation of daring space heroes is sent out into the vastness of space! On board the advanced starship Enterprise D: the next generation of Starfleet officers under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. The follow-up series to the US science fiction classic Star Trek is set in the 24th century, about 100 years after Captain Kirk and the adventures of his team.
The regular crew includes 1st Officer Commander William T. Riker, the android Lieutenant Commander Data, ship’s doctor Beverly Crusher, Lieutenant Commander Geordi LaForge, the Klingon Lieutenant Worf and the telepath Deanna Troi. During their missions, the 1000-strong crew around Captain Picard encounters time loops, parallel universes, aliens, black holes, alien beings and energies, unknown diseases and, time and again, the aggressive, seemingly invincible Borg. The typical science fiction themes are combined with current political and social issues, which are mostly solved by diplomacy, clever tactics and (if possible) peacefully. But as the strongest ship in the fleet, the new Enterprise D also knows how to hold its own in battle!
The year is 2256 – a hundred years after the adventures of Captain Archer and ten years before those of Captain Kirk. Starfleet officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) becomes embroiled in the events surrounding the outbreak of an interstellar war between the internally fractured Klingon Empire and the Federation. Burnham’s life path has been very unusual: During a previous Klingon attack on an Earth-Vulcan research facility, her parents were killed; in the process, the Vulcan diplomat Sarek – Spock’s father – saved her life as a child and became her foster father. As a result, Michael was the first human to attend Vulcan educational institutions; she grew up with a largely Vulcan view of the universe. Burnham then joined Starfleet in the late 2240s.
With over 400 crew members, the starship “Enterprise” sets off into space as a member of the “Starfleet”. It is the year 2265, the third world war is over, humans live together with other worlds and their inhabitants in the “United Federation of Planets”. Captain James Tiberius Kirk (William Shatner) and his crew are given the mission to search for new life forms, alien galaxies and stars in the vastness of space. An incredible journey begins. – Starship Enterprise is the original: produced from 1966 to 1969 in the USA and broadcast for the first time in Germany in 1972.
