FOREVER NERD – 50 YEARS IN FANDOM … AND STILL NOT ENOUGH OF IT
Robert Vogel is not only known as the “raving space reporter”, but is also a veteran of the German science fiction scene. In 2023, he will be active there – hard to believe – for half a century. What started in 1973 with the first letter cotacts developed quickly, and soon the statement “Fandom is a Way of Life” was actually more than 100% true for him. In this long period of time, of course, countless anecdotes have accumulated.
In his lecture, Robert not only gives a historical outline of his career in the German scene in his usual entertaining and entertaining way, but also talks about personal experiences that such a life brings with it.

As a freelance journalist, he writes for various genre magazines and visits, among other things, the shooting of fantastic films and series and has had various appearances in front of the camera.
He has been attending and lecturing at many conventions since 1978. For more than 20 years he also makes the European Space Agency ESA unsafe and spreads the "SciFi virus" there.
