Nicole de Boer

Nicole de Boer has been one of the familiar faces of the science fiction world for many years. The Canadian actress gained international attention primarily through her role as Ezri Dax in the final series of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. As the successor to the much-loved Jadzia Dax, she took on no easy task, but quickly won over many fans with her fresh and sensitive portrayal.

Even before her foray into the Star Trek universe, Nicole de Boer had appeared in numerous film and television productions. She subsequently secured a firm place in the world of science fiction with the lead role of Sarah Bannerman in The Dead Zone, where she starred alongside Anthony Michael Hall for several series. This was followed by further successful appearances in television series, including Stargate Atlantis, The Outer Limits, Haven and as Dr Alison Porter in Private Eyes.
