Callum Keith Rennie

Fans at FedCon 35 can look forward to Callum Keith Rennie, an actor who has long achieved cult status in the science-fiction and fantasy genres. Rennie made his big appearance in the Star Trek universe in 2024, during the fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery. As Captain Rayner, a rough-around-the-edges and highly experienced Kellerun, he becomes the new first officer of Captain Michael Burnham – and his direct, uncompromising attitude creates plenty of friction aboard the USS Discovery.

But Rayner is far from Rennie’s first journey into fantastic worlds. One of his most memorable roles was that of the mysterious Cylon Leoben Conoy in Battlestar Galactica, which helped establish him internationally. He also demonstrated his versatility across science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and superhero stories in The X-Files, Highlander, Smallville, Supernatural, Tin Man, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and The Umbrella Academy. On the big screen, he has appeared in films including Blade: Trinity, The Butterfly Effect, Invisible, and The X-Files: I Want to Believe.
