This is an author workshop on the topic of “Writing creatively and informatively about fantastic series and films”. We will deal with questions about thematic background knowledge, the structure of an article or book chapter, starting with the choice of the headline, the teaser and the first sentence.
We will then look at the structure, expression, use of metaphors, the amount of information, number of characters and other details of the lively, informative and entertaining writing of popular science articles and books. Another small block will revolve around the topic of research and sources. The workshop will be rounded off with a small exercise.
