But while our heroes only have to go to the replicator to eat a delicious Hasparat, Andorian cabbage soup or a simple sandwich, on Earth the kitchen has to be used.
But how can you bring the taste of the galaxy to earthly plates? How do I make really spicy hasparat? How do I get my earthly gagh to move? The Smutje will show you in this newly redesigned workshop that has been popular for years!
Under the motto Bring Trek to the Plate, become a chef yourself, learn new flavor combinations, get research tools and shopping lists, and get tips from the pros. Together, you can let your imagination run wild and send your taste buds on a journey where no palate has gone before.

For several years now, chef Tim Beutler has been known in Star Trek fandom as the Smutje. He regularly conjures up creations such as Klingon raktajino, Bajoran hasparat or Malcom Reed's catfish on the screen, always with great attention to detail and finding the right earthly ingredients for truly alien dishes.
With a lot of wit and humor, he presents food, curious facts about food in Star Trek and other franchises, and also sometimes falls back on the one or other clip or restaurant stories that the creators of Star Trek behind the scenes have used to make their food look alien.
