An exclusive look behind the scenes of Star Trek: Picard and other series in the franchise will be provided by Terry Matalas, who we are pleased to welcome as a guest at FedCon 32. The US-born screenwriter, producer and director served as co-showrunner for the second season of Picard and as sole showrunner for the third season, which was particularly popular with fans.
Matalas got involved with Star Trek in 2001 through his work as a production assistant on Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. He has also penned one or two stories from the various Trek series. In an Enterprise episode, he also participated once as a crew member in front of the camera.
Terry Matalas has already left many traces in his career in other well-known productions. Among them, for example, the series adaptation of 12 Monkeys, which he co-developed. Furthermore, his credits include titles such as Nikita, MacGyver (the remake of 2020) or Terra Nova.
