Sandro Rosta

Sandro Rosta is currently one of the most exciting newcomers in the Star Trek universe – and for sci-fi fans in particular, his journey feels like a real “warp jump.” In the new Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, he plays the young cadet Caleb Mir, a human with a rough background who must prove himself at the legendary Starfleet Academy. His character is far more than a typical recruit: Caleb is an orphan on a personal mission, and through his outsider’s perspective he introduces viewers directly to the core values of Starfleet.

A recent graduate of the Oxford School of Drama, Sandro Rosta steps into one of the series’ central roles – one that offers much more than just phasers and Starfleet uniforms. It’s a story about searching, growing, and the longing for connection in a vast galaxy.
