Sam J. Jones achieved cult status through his iconic role as Flash Gordon in the 1980 film of the same name. In this science fiction adaptation, he plays a heroic American football player who saves Earth from the tyrannical Ming the Merciless. The film was supported by the epic soundtrack of the rock band Queen, whose energetic music, especially the song “Flash”, is inextricably linked to the film.
In addition to Flash Gordon, Jones appeared in other science fiction productions such as The Highwayman and the series Stargate SG-1. Fans also know him for his humorous self-parody in the Ted films by Seth MacFarlane. Sam Jones is expected as a star guest at FedCon 33 and will surely inspire fans of his legendary SciFi heritage!

Autographs and Photosessions are not included in the entry ticket. Appearance of actors are subject to work commitment. Autograph sessions are usually held on Saturday and Sunday only. When purchasing photosession tickets online, please inform in advance when the respective photo sessions are scheduled for the respective guest (program is online about 8 weeks before the start of the convention).
