The research spaceship Orville sends Mark Jackson, the first representative of the series hit of the same name, to FedCon 28. The English actor was born in Rotterdam and can be seen in the science fiction series in the role of the science officer Isaac. This is an artificial form of life from the planet Kaylon 1, a world that exclusively hosts life of non-biological origin. Isaac’s real mission is to study biological life forms. He is highly intelligent, but often takes the idioms and gags of his human crew mates far too seriously, which often leads to serious misunderstandings.
Thus Mark is not at all unlike a certain Mister Spock in his role. And indeed, The Orville is both a tribute to and a persiflage of the Star Trek universe. The series was conceived by Seth MacFarlane, who is also the director, scriptwriter and lead actor.
Mark Jackson also feels really at home on the stage and has already been seen in numerous plays. Then we give the sympathetic Mark aka Isaac the opportunity to study very special biological life forms on the FedCon 28. And to be there as a test person, all you need is a ticket from the Ticket-Shop.
