On its way to FedCon 28, the Orville enjoys another crew member with J. Lee. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, the actor can be seen in Seth MacFarlane’s popular series of the same name as Lt. Commander John LaMarr and, as chief engineer, ensures that the Orville can fly from one adventure to the next in top form.
J. Lee is a true all-rounder. In addition to his work as an actor, he is also active as a writer, producer, director and musician. He began classical piano lessons at the age of three and later completed a music scholarship at the “Jacob’s School of Music” at “Indiana University”, graduating in 2005 with a “Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and Theater and Drama”.
After J. Lee moved to Los Angeles, his life soon crossed with Seth MacFarlane, which resulted in an intense collaboration. Among other things, he took on voice roles in well-known cartoon shows such as American Dad or Family Guy. For the latter he also worked as a production assistant for a long time. A look at his extensive filmography is definitely worth it.
And at FedCon 28 we are especially looking forward to hearing what J. Lee and his colleagues Scott Grimes and Mark Jackson have to tell us about the SF hit The Orville. Tickets, autograph and photo vouchers are available in the Ticket-Shop.
