The podcasters of “Planet Trek fm”, Claudia Kern, Christian Humberg and Björn Sülter, are once again inviting you to this year’s debate and the big group therapy session for and with Trekkies. On an exciting topic, which will be announced at FedCon, the three of them will discuss openly, honestly and fairly with the audience members present and try to find a consensus on even difficult issues that often lead to disputes, especially online.

Because isn’t that what Star Trek is all about? Talking to each other, listening, accepting arguments and searching for and finding solutions together. Claudia Kern, Christian Humberg and Björn Sülter are looking forward to seeing you and may also be welcoming one or two surprise guests on stage. In any case, the motto is: Let’s talk TREK!

Björn Sülter is a publisher, author, journalist, translator, speaker, podcaster and one of the experts on Star Trek in Germany. As an author, he is known for “Es lebe Star Trek” and “Die Star-Trek-Chronik”. As editor-in-chief, he is in charge of “Geek!” and the “Planet Trek” portal. In “TV Serienhighlights” he presents his column “Sülters Warpkernkette”. He translates (e.g. “Star Trek: Zeit des Wandels”), speaks audio books (e.g. “Ein Stich zur rechten Zeit”).

The bestselling author Claudia Kern can look back on countless novels, pulp novels, award-winning translations and other works. She has also written numerous non-fiction books and has been providing the “Kernspaltereien” column in “SpaceView”/“Geek!” since 1999. In 2018, she was awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize for Best Translation. She also translates computer games, TV series and novels.

Bestselling author Christian Humberg has been working as a freelance author of novels, comics, non-fiction books and plays as well as a literary translator and editor since the late nineties. His works reach readers all over the world, having been translated into almost a dozen foreign languages.
