Welcome to the “LLAP* Academy”, where you will experience in a very practical way how and why the psychology of Star Trek works in our everyday life. Even if you are not (yet) a Trekkie and have only a vague idea of psychology, after the LLAP Academy you will not only get to know the most important characters of this science fiction universe and benefit from their strengths, but you will also get an insight into scientific psychology to better understand yourself and other people.
To do this, I will tell you an unforgettable, crazy, and previously unpublished story that once happened on the bridge of Starship Enterprise that will remind you after the convention at work or school that you always have the ability within you to be a responsible Starfleet officer and maybe even a captain.

Already in elementary school I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. The first Harry Potter movie reinforced this desire because Hogwarts brought with it a school atmosphere that inspired me as a child in my ideas of the future and still fascinates me today. When I found out after my high school graduation that psychology could be studied and taught, I knew: I want to know everything about psychology!
To understand myself and other people better, to find out what makes up and influences personality. So far, psychology is only taught in a few schools and it is a pity that it is (still) like that. There is hardly any other subject that affects us all equally and directly.
Only recently I realized that I was involved with psychology - far before the first Potter movie - in the Star Trek series, where e.g. unconditional acceptance of individuality is exemplified and critical topics are not tabooed. For me, Star Trek is positive and humanistic psychology in action, which is worth incorporating into our everyday lives, especially now.
