FedCon 31 | Vortrag | Fehler bei Star Trek? | Dr. Hubert Zitt

Star Trek is known for presenting technical details as scientifically correct as possible in the movies and series. Nevertheless, in over 800 episodes, a few errors have crept in. For this lecture, erroneous film scenes were selected to be shown and discussed.

Starting with carelessness during production up to inconsistencies from a scientific and technical point of view. Furthermore, some embarrassing but also funny mistakes are shown, some of which were even intentional. Also translation errors, which only occur in the German version of the series, are discussed. And although the lecture Errors in Star Trek? by Dr. Hubert Zitt is conceived in a very entertaining and funny way, great importance is attached to scientifically examine the mistakes and not to portray Star Trek negatively in any way.
