Seinen gro\u00dfen Auftritt im <em>Star Trek<\/em>-Universum hatte Rennie 2024 in der f\u00fcnften und letzten Staffel von <em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>: Als Captain Rayner, ein raubeiniger und \u00e4u\u00dferst erfahrener Kellerun, wird er zum neuen Ersten Offizier von Captain Michael Burnham &#8211; und sorgt mit seiner direkten, kompromisslosen Art f\u00fcr ordentlich Reibung an Bord der USS Discovery.<\/p>\n<p local-id=\"edbd2c8be14e\">Doch Rayner ist l\u00e4ngst nicht Rennies erster Ausflug in fantastische Welten. Besonders eindrucksvoll blieb seine Rolle als der geheimnisvolle Zylon Leoben Conoy in <em>Battlestar Galactica<\/em>, mit der er sich international einen Namen machte. Auch in <em>Akte X<\/em>, <em>Highlander<\/em>, <em>Smallville<\/em>, <em>Supernatural<\/em>, <em>Tin Man &#8211; Kampf um den Smaragd des Lichts<\/em>, <em>Marvel\u2019s Jessica Jones<\/em> und <em>The Umbrella Academy<\/em> zeigte <strong>Callum Keith Rennie<\/strong>, wie vielseitig er zwischen Science-Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery und Superheldenstoff agieren kann.
