FedCon 27 | Stargast | Karl Urban

Karl Urban, best known as Dr McCoy and Éomer, is set to beam down to FedCon 27 in Bonn.

Karl Urban, the New Zealand actor with German roots, combines Sci-Fi and fantasy. Trekkies know him well as Dr “Bones” McCoy from the new Star Trek movies and fans of The Lord of the Rings trilogy remember him as Éomer – heir to the throne of Rohan.

The actor had his first role when he was 8 years old in the television series Pioneer Woman. Besides his appearances in New Zealand television series like Xena and Hercules he is also internationally known for Ghost Ship, The Bourne Supremacy and Dredd. Urban will be in Thor: Ragnarök as Skurge who was one of Asgard’s greatest warriors. Recently the popular actor was seen in the Disney production Pete’s Dragon.

Autographs and Photosessions are not included in the entry ticket. Appearance of actors are subject to work commitment. Autograph sessions are usually held on Saturday and Sunday only. When purchasing photosession tickets online, please inform in advance when the respective photo sessions are scheduled for the respective guest (program is online about 8 weeks before the start of the convention).
